Please do not be stupid enough to print any copies of this up and take it to work.
Many years ago the nightmare started out as a farce in the midway pressroom. A bunch of jokers printed a little flyer that was strictly tongue in cheek. Management, having no original ideas of their own, quickly swooped in and made it the corporate newsletter. Needless to say it lost value to the men who originated it. It became like the people who took it over, bland and empty. I hope with this web page to give some of it back to the people. Remember, this is strictly tongue in cheek. If you don't have a sense of humor, leave now!

Welcome to The Midway Nightmare web site.
-Well, it's nice to know that I've been missed. Thank you to all the loyal readers out there. The long lapse in updates it due to the lack of material, or my lack of creativity. I think I went to the well one too many times and came up empty the last couple of months. So I put a call out to all you readers out there to submit material. You can write about anything you want, but I reserve the right to do a little editing if I deem necessary. Avid readers will notice the deletion of Jack's Page. It's hard to pick on somebody when he's being a good citizen. (yup Jack, you finally broke me, he he) Actually, I'm glad to see that he can be a contributing member of society. Other news out there concerns our hundred year anniversary. I'm sorry, I know that's a big milestone, but when I think of something that's a hundred years old, I think of an incontinent old man in a wheelchair that can hardly understand what your saying. Actually that's a good analogy for our company. I mean, look at how old Midway is. If ever there was a building that was incontinent, that's it. The roof wets itself so much that they try to repair it every year and it still leaks. (sometimes immediately after they get it fixed) You think they'd get smart and hire union workers to do the roof! I won't even mention how deaf the company is. I was going to do the pressroom news on a picture of Randy that I found. I had it all planned out. I was going to put his head on a monkey's body. But I just couldn't bring myself to do it. It had to be humiliating just to wear that pink shirt. I probably would have a grimace like that on my face too. Besides that, it would be an insult to any monkey that saw the picture! P.S. Who picked out the color of the shirts for the celebration? Guh, I'm glad I didn't volunteer to help out.

-Sorry about the long time between updates. I've been a busy boy. I had to address security concerns to make sure that anybody that wanted to find out who I am would have one heck of a time. (We're talking almost impossible, without spending a lot of money) There's also a new web host with a bunch of features that you guys might like. I'm working on Nightmare mail and an anonymous chat room for everybody. (I'm not sure about the chat room, if you think it's a good idea, please contact me) Check out the new URL midwaynightmare.mybravenet.com.
-Man I hated all that crap in the last update. But what's a guy gonna do, go down without a fight? Thanks to everybody for your support. I don't want this to degenerate into a bitch page about how bad management sucks. I want to keep the tone on the light side and something everybody can enjoy. (Except Jack, he hates life so much he can't enjoy anything)
-Thank you to the people who've written me. I appreciate the feedback. I'd especially like to thank Bruce Kehl for the submission of the Midway Nightmare's new "semi-permanent" motto.
If the world didn't suck, we'd all fall off!
This will remain as the motto till I see something better.
-A Kevin Costner movie from several years ago spawned the phrase, "Build it and they will come." I'm glad that people are actually reading the drivel that I write on these pages. I'll try to do my best to keep you guys updated on goings on in the pressroom, without the propagandic spin that you get from other sources. I'll also try to cause a lot of trouble. I like to make life interesting.
-Recently, the supervisors came to us asking for someone to represent the pressroom in the Nightmare. I decided to take them up in their offer, though I don't think this is what they had in mind. They wanted to edit whatever was written before it was submitted. What's the fun in that? So here's my best attempt at humor. If you don't like it ? Oh well, I tried.
Please feel free to contact me and submit material, pictures, and ideas. Please no baby pictures. I have no shame, I will pick on anybody and anything. Pictures of employees are greatly appreciated though, especially management.
This page is still under construction. It will probably be updated and added to frequently.
